Without turning this into an ID vs Everyone Else debate, what real world benefits would I see switching from FIC to ID? I'm not trying to be a dick here, I'm genuinely curious.

Probably not much. Going from FIC to ID is like going from Xida to Penske. Yeah they're better but are they $100 better and will the amount they're better even be noticeable? I'm going to go with no since even 1000cc FICs can hold a rock solid idle at 15:1 on pump, and the differences you'll find power wise are well into the diminishing returns.

I prefer IDs since I like all of my cylinders to idle at the same AFR.
