Default Supercharger cams for 99 head

After looking at this chart I think I found a great supercharger cam combo for the 99 head.

http://www.sergionicolau.com/viatura...20-%20cams.php

The BP5A for the Intake and the Webcam 522 for exhaust.

The webcam adds a little duration but much more lift. This will help expel the added exhaust gases from the SC without creating additional overlap.

The BP5A is will also increase lift without creating excess duration. I really think this combo will work well.

Couldnt you just have web make you supercharger specific cams? I mean if you're already buying from them might as well.

I have to talk to them and see what the design process is. Depending on the equipment used one offs can be expensive. I would love to have another 10 degrees of duration in the exhaust cam as opposed to what the 522 has.

I would be very surprised if they kept cams for our car sitting on the shelf and had specific tooling for them. Would not surprise me if they made them 1 at a time to order.

They do not stock anything. They are one offs on a "as needed" basis.

Cam grinders either CNC or use templates (forget what they call em). when designing a cam someone has to eat the setup cost. Sometimes it's the grinder most times on custom stuff it's the buyer. It's not as easy as saying give me 10 more degrees.

I understand how cams are made. With the CNC grinder its fairly easy to change the profile. For the manual grinders I think they call it a master cam, which yeah that would increase the 1 off cost quite a bit. Disclosure* I did a short stint as the manufacturing engineer at a company that made the cam and crank polishing machines for GM.

If they don't bang me hard for customizing a profile then I am all over that. I designed the cams on my other car with fantastic results.
