my car is a 96 with 137,000 miles im going to turbo soon funds and time permitting. my question is this on cold start up i have some pinging and tapping normaly goes away in under a minute what is causing it and is that something that needs to be adressed before it is turboed?? thanks for the help in advance.

 

its lifter noise becuase of your HLA's (hydrolic lash adjusters). Not a big deal.
