Too much blow by

Long story short it all hapened after an attempt to retune my car and ever since white smoke escaping from exhaust and catch can, oil escaping from oil cap, and ran 2 quarters of oil in one week.
just wondering cz it was running straight until i decided to make it better ( overheating accures too after half an hour of highway after the attempt of retuning

Oil was black when i changed it 2 days ago

If by shut "on" you mean shut down.......really sounds like your timing was way outta wack and you had things glowing in the combustion chamber so the engine was "dieseling" after you turned the key off. It's toast....you probably melted the ring lands off the pistons.

I was only running 10 psi but rebuilding the engine it is i guess

chrisabidaoud 11-11-2016 08:14 PM

I had my afr at 11.5 at 10 psi and was running supper fine until the retuning attempt

chrisabidaoud 11-11-2016 08:15 PM

Base map probably fucked it up cz the tuner had to reevent all the timing and fueling table

ryansmoneypit 11-12-2016 08:09 AM

What base map did you get? I am running the timing map from Diy and it works great.

crazy question but if it was running fine why would you start over tuning?
