^i want the emptiness, and easier access. Not to mention the empty spaces will probably eventually get filled in by something better.

I guess that means I will be selling off the BEGi 1.6 kit that is on it now.
Good idea. No one ever makes any power with a 1.6.

I'm perfectly happy with mine. 13psi, and it hits the rev limiter instantly in first and second. I'm not shooting for 300hp, but it will scream.

It should run without emmisions, but why. It doesn't save that much weight. But each to there own. Drive it like you stole it.

[QUOTE=y8s;371641]dunno if the stock ECU will throw codes or put you in some kind of limp mode that way, but a megasquirt would fix that problem quick.

How would you deal with the codes using megasquirt, is there a feature to completely stop codes from coming up?

Codes come from the stock ECU. There is no stock ECU with Megasquirt. MS3 can control the CEL, but it's not OBDII codes, it's user set information that can be found in the user manual. MS1 or MS2 will not use the CEL for anything.

Props to ggarcia, based on his his first post, he actually used the Search facility to find a thread last active in 2009 that related to his question.

May there be more like him!
