Default Unidentified sensor

I'll probably get laugh at for that but I found that sensor in the engine bay. It's coming from the maf wire loop and I don't know what it's for...



I'm guessing some kind of IAT but bought the car already S/C and I found it lying on the frame rail. I can't figure out where it goes.

Anybody got an idea?

IAT, would normally stick into your stock airbox. Should be located at least near to where your intake is.

You can see it in the picture below. The connector on the right hand side of the airbox goes to the stock location for the IAT.

If it's anything like mine you'll find a hole punched in the centre at the end of that filter.
