Default Vacuum Pump?

While on Moroso's site I saw their line of vacuum pumps and it got me thinking, what about a vacuum pump on a Miata? I am not aware of the presense of even a weak "smog pump" on the NA Miata, but would more vacuum not be a good thing?

If you have everything hooked up properly your intake acts as a vacuum pump. Your intake manifold while the car is under light load (vacuum) and from somewhere between your air filter and compressor for most turbo people while the car is under heavier load.
