Default Variable oil pressure pump assembly

Would you use a variable oil pressure assembly if it was supplied as an option to the oil pump kits? https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t35503/

On the all aluminum housings we're planing on making just a full out race version from it. This would include a teflon hardcoat with an oil pressure adjustment option. So you would maybe be able to drop down to 70psi relief valve pressure for a qaulifing lap like nascar would do, and then quickly change upto whatever you feel comfortable with for racing. This new high flow line of oil pumps will produce much more pressure sooner, and has the capability of supplying much more pressure then the relief valve can handle even with light oil in the pan at higher rpm.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks

Couple of minutes from the hood side of the motor. You wouldn't even have to get down underneith the car to do it.
