i have a evap not ready and egr not pass. i have had o2 and egr codes that i clear when they popped up every few weeks on my car. now i need to trick the egr and o2 into not coding so that the evap will reset and pass.

i know there is something you can do with a resistor and the o2 wiring but need the how to and figure there is the same you can do for the egr.

 

We are working on something like this too. Check with me in a few weeks. That said, if you have a stock sensor out of spec, the EGR readiness monitor will not reset. For example, if the TPS voltage reads more than 2% out of spec, the readiness monitor will not go. Same for CAM, crank, MAF, and all other related sensors. The O2 does not seem to bother it though. Strange that it works that way, but it does.
