bumping an old thread just to let everyone know that renown performance definitely scammed me. never got that resonator. gave a valid address 4 times and they couldn't manage to get it here. sent extra money for shipping and all. now the account is dead...

 

what does anyone know of jones mufflers/glass packs? super cheap, and from what i can find, they just work. they don't cut down as much sound as a more expensive part, but i think it would work for me. just looking for first hand testimonies

 

Cheap exhaust parts are one of the things that you really do get your money's worth on. Spend the ~$70 on the biggest Magnaflow you can fit in your application and never look back.

 

i just ordered it. it was only $22 shipped! we'll see how it goes. i had ordered the vibrant resonator but it never came... so i can't stand to spend over $50 on it twice

 

just a final update on this.
yeah, renown performance f-d me.

but, i FINALLY received a resonator and got it put in yesterday. i got the shortest jones resonator that summitracing had available. wasn't sure how it would do but it had quieted the exhaust down just about perfectly. no more very loud harshness and the volume is now at a reasonable level from my specmiata catback. dude charged me $40 to put it in. did a good job too! flared the ends and relocated the hanger.
