Default Where to put IAT sensor?

IAT sensors like this one for use with MS on a turbo car have to be welded into the intake at some point. If I am using FM's kit which has silicon tubing, where and I supposed to get this thing welded in?
Or maybe does one exist that people use with the FM kit that doesn't require welding?

Install it on the front side of the intercooler on the exit side.

If you have an aftermarket aluminium intercooler, you can tap the coldside tank and tap it for the sensor.
Apparently you only need 2-3 threads in the tank wall to secure it - I got a bung welded in my Fab9 350hp intercooler though since I'm paranoid.

IAT barb added to coldside tank of Fab9 350hp intercooler
