Even with our heat, hustler? Must be highway miles

The last motor I saw with that kind of build up was a ford 2.2lohv 4cly with 150k in a tempo that hadn't had an oil change since somewhere before a 100k.

When I met my wife she had a 2003 Kia Spectra that she neglected since it was her first car... I noticed the oil light and told her that needs immediate addressing... she also lived in an area where dust was a plenty, and somewhat hotter in the reno area (deserty areas)

MY GOD IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!

I actually had to use a screw driver to speed up the flow while draining.
3 5 qt. jugs of cheap casterol GTX, 2 filters (one cheapy and the other premium), 2 bottles of sea foam, 2 drains and 10 miles total later I got the engine flushed and clean again. She got lucky that somehow there was enough oil to lubricate important bits, and prevent the oil pick up from being clogged.

The cams were never the same again, sounded like it got the 80k mile advance treatment for a 2003 car back in 2006. noisy clattery start ups, I never checked the valve lash because i didnt care that much. The compression check showed about 10psi loss... for a 3 year old car at the time.

I bet if I took off the valve cover it would have looked like that.
