splitime has a GT2554/2560 housing right? and that didn't fit? I have no idea then. Specs-wise the GT25's have a 53.0mm/2.086" inducer, which is what you said is that turbo.

What's the number on the tag? Check it against this sheet. And find the Macro button on your camera!

Yes they do. .86A/R and .65(?) A/R.

When I clocked paul's 2560 that turbine housing had 6 bolts that hole it onto the center section compared to 4 on the one in your pics.

Yeah but long as i get the "clips?" that hold it together I should be fine. If you get a chance could you measure off the 2871 you have?

I meant to say sure, next time I'm at the shop I'll get the dimensions.

Yes, as long as those half-circle clamps are the same inner diameter it should be fine.

Dave / Tim,

Either one of you guys get a chance to measure some stuff up. I think the issue i am running into is that the lip that the housing rests on (where the clips and bolts rest) is larger than normal. Since obviously my turbine is a known size.

Dave this might have been your problem with that housing too since the housing is off a T series and we both have GT.

That 2.65 is the number i am very curious to see measured. Along with the other stuff

Well, my housing issue is that the wheel itself wouldn't fit down into the housing....

Loki,

Sorry buddy, I decided I don't want to disassemble this new turbo to measure that dimension for you. I only removed the thing from it's packaging/bag to take pictures of it and I'm trying to sell it as a new part.

The 2.65 dimension on this turbo would be the same as splitime's disco potato housing.
