How so? there should be enough space to fit a slim fan in there.

 

Personally mine is a tight fit - maybe you have more room - there's no way I could fit a fan b/t the IC and the condensor but like i said it would be interesting to see if it helps.

I'm planning on trying it...when i have an intercooler up there, that may be a litle while though.

 

Best approach is sealing the heat exchangers to one another, directing air to them and sealing around them so any air has to pass through them not around the, and having a pair of puller fans with proper shrouding.

I'll get some pics of my mouth sealing tomorrow but it might be hard to tell exactly what's going on with everything tucked up tightly.

 

I used this one from FatCat as a basic template. I used some ABS sheet I have left over from the Splitter/Undertray project I'm working on. Basically measured the height and width of the rad. Cut the ABS same size. Layed the fans on it and traced around. Cut about 1/4 inch inside the tracing. Bolted the fans to the shroud. Missed with my hole measurements to bolt it to the radiato so I used a dremel grind holes in while it was in the car. Used some 1/2 foam insulation tape to help seal it to the radiator.

Here's a pic of what it looks like in my car. Didn't take any while it was out. Total time was maybe 2 to 3 hours. I'm a measure once, cut three or 4 times kind of guy. I like making extra work for myself. Biggest headache wasn't missing the bolt holes but not making the cutouts for the radiator pipes big enough. Kept putting it in to test fit and pulling it out to whittle away material. My advise is just go big and call it good.
