Default FM to Begi compatiblity

Simple question, I searched, couldn't find a definitive answer. I have an oldskool fm manifold, I'm wanting to order a newskool begi dp...I'm assuming they will work. Thanks.

Best bet, call BEGi and ask them to make 100% sure. They helped design the old FM kits anyway.
FWIW though, when I asked them (since I did the same thing), they told me everything was compatible, and it worked out fine on my car.

Sweet, thanks. They look almost identical manifold wise so I figured as much.

I asked Stephanie the same question. I have the older FM log manifold that was created by begi. As long as you order the Begi-S downpipe and not the SSM.

100% compatible, as long as it is a Garrett GT2554, GT2560, or GT2860 turbo.

Should be. But it is possible that the GT2871 turbo will be larger than the GT2860. If it is, the downpipe might hit in the tranny tunnel somewhere.

Hmmm... Reason I asked was to see if y'all had run into any firsthand issues with them yet.
From what I've read, the standard 2860s and 2871s share turbine housings (of course since they are both T28s) and wheels, whether it be .64ar or .86ar housings. The difference lies in the compressor wheel, 60mm exd 62 trim for the 2860 and 71mm exd 56 trim for the 2871.
In any case, I have my GT2871R mounted loosely to the manifold and the downpipe on the turbo at the moment, but can't hook up the transmission until I move the engine from the stand to the hoist. Will report back soon.

We have an issue with an S4 manifold and downpipe. But not that I recall with a cast iron manifold.

I just need it to fit my egay t28, which has the same flange/setup as the sr20 t25...we will see I just ordered a pipe from ya'll.
