Default **** USPS

Wow can you trust any shipping company? seriously.

**** USPS.

Abe sent me some transistors for his board that would help alleviate the problem with the idle on the other transistors he sent, and whoopteedo, look what came in the mail!

Transistors gone, missing. Nothing in the envelope. It came in a little nice stupid plastic sealed bag saying "We Care" when they obviously don't.

yea, but its happened quite a bit to me. just had to vent. I had a subscription to a magazine in the past, and 2 issues never got to me. They came 3-4 months later, shredded in pieces, in plastic bags. Why would they even bother to ship it that way if its in that condition?

Not the only one to have a problem with this send-out.

its funnier that someone took the transistors...

that thing probably went through an auto sorter and ripped apart. then they removed the transistors and put the case back in.

Paper envelopes FTL when shipping something that isn't flat or the size of the envelope. Loose objects like that just tear through them. Gotta use tougher or padded envelopes.

Im sorry for your loss. But think about the thousands of letters you have received in your lifetime through USPS. Their successful delivery rate has to be in the high 90%'s. I for one greatly dislike days where I get nothing.

Abe, did you put thick and oddly shaped objects in a standard envelope???

did you write "DO NOT AUTO SORT" on it??

if you answered yes to the first and no to the second, it's not the USPS fault.

I bet they take the huge bag full of letters labeled "Do not auto sort" into a back room where they then dump them into an auto sorter.

I have no sympathy, sorry. I have shipped over 200 items with some to China, Japan, and Europe with 100% satisfaction. Only thing I never received was a Jackson Racing catalytic converter back in 2004 , but I got a bad vibe from the seller and still got my money back. FWIW, I have never shipped anything other than a birthday card in a paper envelope and take proper care of every item I sell.

yeah, I actually took them all out and repackaged them since I thought the first method wouldn't work. Go figure.

Thankfully, the parts are pretty cheap, I'm seriously only out a couple bucks a kit. I *do* feel bad for the waste time, though. Here's what's funny: By total coincidence, the order to digikey went in with some super rush, 10 am delivery stuff - which they fucked up and sent normal 3 day. When we called them the next day at noon, sent another order out that day, over night. So supposedly, there should be another order of those parts sitting at work waiting for me, I didn't bother to pick up.

Thankfully, both the purchasing ladies like me. :-) Will sent out more, in nice pretty envelopes, soon.

Todd's and Leo's also got shot out the side. I had them 'soft packed' before, took them all out and redid them. FTL
