Default Snow in Houston!

Ok. I know we've all seen snow in Houston before. But not like this! If only it were a few degrees colder and it would accumulate. Instead the temperature is going to drop after the snow stops. HELLO ICE!

Wow...was just about to head home. Wife says it's worse there than up here in College Station (few flakes).

If you can avoid driving, do so. I assume the reaction in Houston is the same here in Atlanta--all the red necks in their lifted trucks and yuppies in their full size suv's think that their 4wd will keep them on the road, then crash into hella amounts of stuff because they are barely able to breathe while talking on the phone, let alone doing both while driving on ice.

So did anyone take their car out on a parking lot and have some fun?

And yet Utah isn't getting anything! Send us your snow!! The ski resorts have already lost millions of dollars here because of the lack of precipitation.

The ice won't set in till later in the evening. But I'll be the first! IF I can get the Miata to warm up.

I'm not supposed to get snow again this week, but snow miata is armed and ready for parking-lot terror. Green, turbo miata is staying inside where its warm.

Just be careful going over bridges, they ice over first due to exposure and less mass to cool down.

Guys, there is absolutely nothing like driving in 12 inches of fresh powder with a 4wd pickup. My lot is big enough to toy around in, and they are unbelievably lazy about plowing it. This is the only thing worth a **** about living in the northeast. Maybe I'll get in-truck video this winter.

It missed Austin unfortunately.

Does the snow help with the Houston stink?
