Default Finally got it out to the 1/8th today.

2.1 60'
9.02 E.T.
84.66 MPH

Anyone want to guess what my 1/4 times and WHP might be?

That was my first run. I made another and it was like a 10 something so I stopped. Thought it was a boost leak. When I got home realized the wastegate flapper had fallen of the actuator rod.:gay:

I look forward to pulling fuel and adding timing to the base FM spark map that I'm running, I'm sure its conservative for 91, and we get 93 here.

high 13's, low 14's depending on the track and how you do that day. 230hp, just a guess. Don't really know how these things are, I am still thinking like a heavier car, nice though, keep the *** whooping coming to the people that think that a miata is just a little girlie car.

im thinking 195 whp and about 163 lb/ft. What kinda feel did you get on the launch what tires are you running? What RPM did you launch it at? Are you on the 4.3 rear? i would think that a 14 flat would be doable given a good launch what was your 60 ft

2.1 60' is kinda weak, get better tires and you'll break 8s easy.

Launched at 3200 and slipped the clutch a lot. It is a 4.10 with RX7 LSD. Yeah, I wasn't really going for E.T. Spun 1st and 2nd bad. Just wanted to try and see how much power it was making.

FWIW, there was a 2006 WRX STi there, and he ran an 8.4 at 82. There were several other WRXs there and an SRT4, and a supercharged Civic Si.

I had the highest MPH of all the 4 cylinder cars, a lightly modded 05 STi trapped at 83.

Well I did a little searchin and found this page:
http://www.dragtimes.com/Mazda--Miat...ag-Racing.html
From what the two 85mph miatas ran, it looks like I could hope for anywhere from mid 13s to high 12s. It's closest to a 1.6 FMII at 15psi. Sweet.
Here's a datalog from the run. You can see by the RPM the traction problems it had in 1st and 2nd.

ya i was gonna say, a boosted miata @12 psi runs with sti's powerwise and they are about 13.5s quarter mile times down to 13-high 12's with a lil tuning and better driving. I would have to say you are probably very close to your high 12/low 13s estimate.

220-240whp. 84mph is not bad at all for a GT2560R @ 12psi
