I'm posting this in the BS forum cause I know lots of dudes never get up to the FRONT DESK.
I just looked through the VBGarage and noticed that about half of them are completely empty.... ie, no pictures and no writeup. What kind of crap is that? HEY MODS, is there any way to delete VBGarages that are blank? I bet that most of those are due to people trying to upload pics that are too big, being unsuccessful they just giving up altogether.
If you are one of those guys, here's how you make pictures smaller the easy way. 150kb is the limit for JPEGS.
Look about halfway down the right side of this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx
Download IMAGE RESIZER.exe. It'll put an icon on your desktop. Install the icon. After installed, you can delete the icon. Now go to any photo-type file and RIGHT CLICK. A new selection will be RESIZE IMAGES. It doesn't simply resize the current image, it creates a new photo right next to the original only much smaller. You can resize as more than one at a time. Resolution suffers very little on a standard monitor, even in SMALL. I use it more often than any other program on my computer.
My Sony 3.2mp camera makes 1.2mb files on max setting. On MEDIUM, the resizer makes all the pics you see in my vbGarage about 100kb... perfect for uploading! Anybody with a higher MP camera can surely get away with SMALL.
IF YOU HAVE A 5+mp CAMERA, EVEN THE SMALL SETTING ON THE RESIZER MIGHT NOT GET YOUR PICS SMALL ENOUGH TO POST... SO DIAL DOWN YOUR CAMERA RESOLUTION A LITTLE, LIKE TO 3mp.

if I got it free i'd share it. but since it's paid for and company property, no.
plus cs3 is almost out anyway.
to be honest, i let my gallery program resize on upload.

I have not been able to upload a photo ever since I deleted my last two.
is size why i cant upload a photo??? I am trying to upload the same file size photo as before. Has file size been reduced?
