gotta love automotion.
lol brain, that reminds me of my buddy who owns an STI and gets everything done at a shop. When he was dynotuned, he was disappointed because of the numbers that tuner companies were claiming. I tried to explain to him that different dynos read differently but im not quite sure he got it.
yeah, then send him to a mustang dyno so we can laugh when it shows 88 hp.
it was already on a loading dyno....i betcha the numbers were just converted to BHP or the thing was setup improperly.
it would be funnier yet if he got on a Dynojet and saw his 100rwhp number.

no it was dynodynamics.
with a "4% correction factor for heat."

dyno dynamics is loaded, and it typically reads lower than a mustang.
case in point, i made 133whp on a mustang, stock. I made 158whp on 5.5psi on a dyno dynamics. I also ran a 14.2 with 158whp.

can't the operator adjust the amount of load? IE not enough load = unrealistic high hp?
but this is nothing compared to the guy down the block from me with 17in chrome wheels.
i showed him my car and said im making around 150,
he said he makes about 160 with his 3 angle valve job..also he wants to put a saab motor in the trunk.

I saw that thread a few days ago when it was only two pages. He obviously has very strong feelings about his car... typical wine-and-cheeser who believes that his car above all others in the land is most special and nobody is going to convince him otherwise.
