Default O2 Simulator

$30 SHIPPED CONUS.

Do you keep getting the P0141 - faulty O2 heater - CEL?

I did on my 99. I removed both Cats on my car and I bought this as a solution to the annoying CEL. I have 2 available as I bought one for mine and another 99.

This worked PERFECTLY on the other 99, but on mine I did not wire it EXACTLY according to the directions and could not get it to work. I am now using the same function in the PC Pro to get rid of the CEL.

What did I do wrong? Well, the direction say to wire this to the rear O2 sensor ground and I just used a regular ground. After talking with Ralph @ Baker, I know this was why I couldn't get it to work.

If you can't get it to work, I'll give you a 10 day money back guarantee. If it doesn't work, just let me know and I'll give you your money back.

Thanks

If you mean how does it work? The PC Pro has functions that either not in use or can be made do other things. This luckily is one of those unused functions. The PC Pro intercepts the O2 sensor signal and tells the ECU exactly what it's expecting to see from the rear O2 sensor. Voile! No more CEL.

So it works great.

Is there a write up on how to wire it.

Is there a Miata specific wire somewhere? Are the wires on the PCPRO the same color as the ones listed on the website you typed? I'm just real interested in getting rid of this error code. Thanks Chuckerants.

According to Baker Electronix, you can wire it any one of the 3 (?) ways listed in the directions. I chose the easiest - Fig. 5.

As for which wires on the Miata ECU are which, I don't remember as Tom wired the PC Pro for me.

If you can read a wiring diagram (which I can't read very well if at all), you can take a look here:
