under my CP i click on edit avatar and it does not ahve an option for me to do so, it has the do not use avatar selected and i cant unselect it adn the reset field button does not work and save changes does nothing, what am i doing wrong?

Seriously, this forum has sort of evolved into a small, limited-appeal gathering spot for people who are actually serious about FI, as opposed to the chrome & shift-***** set. Philip (the admin) doesn't really collect much in ad revenue compared to M.net with their huge sponsors marketplace, so contributions are sort of expected from members. It's a whopping $3.50 per month, which basically sets you back around 1/2 a pack of smokes nowadays.
