We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the MiataTurbo community from your mobile devices!

It's still a very early beta but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your mobile device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard 'bright' theme we've always had 😎

We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being that you are one of the very first communities we're trying this out on, we don't expect to have gotten it perfect so we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.

We also recognize that some of you would like to see a dark mode on desktop, we do too! Our first goal is to perfect this mobile experience and our hope is to release dark mode for all browsers once the summer is over. Thank you all in advance for your understanding.

Please log in from your mobile, turn the dark mode on using the Hamburger menu and let us know your feedback in this thread.

I like it. Seems much easier to read and loaded up fine.

 

I like it. Looking good so far!

 

For 90 percent of the time it loads up ok however I have noticed that it sometimes acts as an overlay above the regular site version. I'm viewing it on Chrome through my phone when this happens. Next time it does I'll grab a screenshot of how it looks in case anyone needs to see what I'm talking about

Motorola 5G UW running Android 11. I am logged in when this occurs

 

Love the dark option. Only complaint: in dark mode, I cannot tell which forum sections have unread posts, while in light mode the color distriction is evident.

Once in a sub section, the red dots marking unread posts make it very easy to see what's new. Perhaps adding something similar to the overview pages would help?
