I'm usually watching vblive on my 3rd monitor at work and I've seen more than once where users are typing up a thread or quoting and then everything is erased.
I can't show you without just doing screen shots. I believe the IB Devs may have changed something.
When quoted, html tags appear? ^^^
When we attempt to do a heart
>Unless I close it.
Now that I've included screenshots of stuff that goes away after a preview or going to advanced mode to reply. How can we solve this so that we can spread the love ?

<p>Most of this will be fine once we completely move over to the new CKeditor. We have a ticket yelling at our tech folks about this problem. Here was their general answer.</p><p>This new editor (CKEditor) uses HTML and in order to avoid malicious code in older editor we had to enable an accepted list of html tags and then disallow the rest. So when trying to write the heart <3 - or anything beginning with the carrot - it assumes that you are trying to write html code that is not accepted. So it won't work in the old editor but works fine in the new one.</p><p>Same with the quotes looking a mess. If we all used the new editor then it would work fine... since we are balancing between both for another couple weeks (waiting on bug fixes) then we have these problems. :(</p>

I beg you.
I've tried the HTML editor, and while I admit this is a matter of personal preference, I find the classic "Enhanced WYSIWYG" editor to be vastly more useful. While change is not always bad, change for the sake of change is not always the best approach.
