I also miss the side bar. Rick updated something a long time ago that made it stop showing who posted the latest in the bar and just the thread starter. We tried to get him to fix it, he never did then the site was sold to IB. We then asked IB to fix it a few times and it never happened. I believe it was totally dropped because it messed up formating for some browsers.

 

It can't be that difficult to create a mysql query that populates an active thread side bar that is compatible with all browsers.

 

no, the problem was the third-party software he was using pretty much just stopped supporting the plugin and it failed.

I like to click VBlive when I want to see the most recent activity...

but I do like tags, let me poke around. I didn't realize they were off because I can still add them (e.g., see tags).

I like to not have to click anything and just look on the right side and see what is new. I have my tab set to reload the page every 30 seconds or so. It is so much easier to just look at that then to have to go navigate off the main page.
