When I Post, It Goes Blank in Firefox

After I post, it goes to a white blank page and hangs there. Only after going back or reloading Firefox will it show my post.

Are there any compatibility issues w/ MT and Firefox or is my rig just jacked? This just recently started happening.

It only happens here, not other forums.

XP SP2
Firefox 3.0.12

Weird, it didn't happen w/ my post above. First time it didn't happen.

kenzo42 08-05-2009 02:49 AM

Ok, "Post Quick Reply" causes it to go blank and hang.

RotorNutFD3S 08-05-2009 07:05 AM

Also happens on both my home PCs with Firefox. Quick Reply only.

Same here, I just don't use Quick Reply and have no issues.

I've had that problem myself, also utilizing the Quick Reply function. Maybe the new update fixed it. I'll check later.

Opera FTMFW. No problems ever.

olderguy 08-05-2009 09:08 AM

This is with Firefox and quick reply. Did it work?

Edit: Yes

Savington 08-05-2009 09:10 AM

close MT.net
delete MT.net cookies
delete cache

try again.

pdexta 08-07-2009 01:51 AM

I've been having the same problem

pdexta 08-07-2009 01:54 AM

y8s suggestion did not fix it on my computer.

Tools > Clear Private Data > Check Cache and Cookies, if anyone else wants to try it.

albumleaf 08-07-2009 01:48 PM

I get the same issue at some of the labs at my school. Not sure what it is, tried clearing cache/cookies. FF 3.0.13 at home works perfectly though.

Quality Control Bot 08-09-2009 01:37 PM

Please check it out now. FF and quick reply should be ok.

paNX2K&SE-R 08-09-2009 03:09 PM

I have experienced the same thing.

***** edit **********

It seems to be fixed now, cool.

04 Miata 08-09-2009 05:20 PM

Using FF 3.0.13 here and it was giving me the problem.

Edit

Looks like Rick fixed it
