The radio in and amp out wires crimped together with these super nice crimps. The remaining depinned black and orange wires are the signal wire shielding.

Shout out to this random radio bracket that came in my NA. It's probably 20 years old.

The unpinned blue wire is the antenna power wire. I am going to put it on a switch, as the antenna goes up whenever the radio powers on, regardless of audio source.

As it sits now. There's some remaining wires that could be cleaned up and removed, but I'll trim them out after a few months of it working right.

1. Hazard
2. HVAC controls
3. HVAC backlighting
4. Window switches
5. Aftermarket radio connector/jumper harness
6. Factory NB radio connector

Oh joy. A week before Gridlife South Carolina, I pulled up the carpet and found a bunch of rust on the drivers side floorpan.

The tar practically peeled off in sheets in the rusty spots.

After scrubbing with a wire brush and naval jelly. The black marks are some kind of remaining E-coat or paint, not oxidation

While I was waiting on the new floorpan paint to cure, I painted the eye bolts as they had corroded. The original zinc plating was trash.

To get the door cards finished after 6 years of looking like garbage, I started by using 1/4" wood to give the panel some rigidity, and move it further from the door shell.
