After polishing the intake manifold I painted it, it's paited with flat black engine enamel, with the fresh polished surfaced the paint adhered to the manifold exceptionally well.

With so much going on you sometimes get confused or caught up doing something so, just to keep the progress moving forward the night before I wrote a list of everyting that had to be done that day, this technique worked well.

Again the stock exhaust manifold, this has about 12 coats of flameproof VHT paint. it's good for 2,000 degrees'

the stock exhaust manifold, ground out the factory welds where it connects to the head, and at the collector area. the welds were sticking pretty far into the runners.

just sanding down all the oxidation from the valve cover before i powder coated it. i did it at home with a powder coat kit and an old oven in my garage, came out great

Polished throttle body, this one was tricky because of all the bends and hard to get to areas

polished the intake manifold with copper wire wheels with a flex shaft rotary tool. tool 47 wire wheels.

The cylinder head when i took it off after oil port failure, this is right before i disasembled the head and had the casting sent out to moores' cylinder head in north carolina. they did a amazing job. got the casting back was gorgeous
