Damn. Stopped playing cause no one communicates and it drives me crazy. Transferred to 360 cause a bunch of buddies don't have PC's. Damn I wish I had waited for sale to make a game I don't play much cheaper. Also like the controller better. Just don't like the keyboard. Mouse I can get use to, but the wasd is to off/on.

Was having some issues with crashing. Said it was a directx issue. I ended up solving it by disabling origin in game.
Seems i need to wait a few more months before it's stable on SLI... Plus every time i quit the game, it crashes.
Otherwise it's running buttery smooth. Graphics turned up, AAx4.

Going to buy a PC upgrade today during the newegg sale.
I have an i3 2120 sandy bridge 3.2 right now with a GeForce GTX 460. I know the card needs an upgrade and is likely my bottleneck in most games, BUT this is my question.
Do i get this i5? keep in mind i'd sell my current CPU to my brother for $50 if i go this route: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K - Newegg.com
Or do i spend the equivalent amount on a new GPU? What budget GPU would you guys recommend?
This is posted in the bf4 thread, because it's relevant to BF4. Every other game I have I can basically crank the settings on without issue, bf4.. not so much.

Rather than tell you, I'll just tell you what I do. Go to newegg/amazon/tiger direct/wherever and look at some in the $150 range. Then I go to this site and check out which ones are better: PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmark Charts
The difference between the EVGA and PNY (or others) versions of the same chip probably has some performance difference, but not enough to make me care. Maybe others have preferred brands but I haven't had a problem so far just going with whatever is cheapest.

With my current I3/gtx460 setup I'm getting a minimum of 40fps on medium settings and 1920 resolution.
So better graphics and framerate than the console version :P
Pretty damn good, actually this game seems much better optimized than bf3 was, for my machine at least.
