I suck so bad but can't stop getting my *** kicked. I know I'm getting old, but ****, I swear when watching kill cams that others are able to just come close and I die. I feel like sometimes I empty a clip into someones chest only to get popped and die. Wife thinks I'm crazy playing a game that frustrates me so much. Perhaps I am.

This setup doesn't quite have the speed it had in MW2 or BlackOps... it's just a little slow. I love the Stalker perk, but but turning and general movement not zoomed is a little slow.

I played with the XM25 grenade launcher for awhile, and it's a pos. Ever since they made nuketubes so damn powerful in MW2 and everybody complained like a bitch, all of the grenade-type systems are weaksauce. I can put an entire clip from the XM25 within 10ft of a player, get hit-markers every shot, and still not get a kill. The "airburts" is 100% completely useless and impossible to get a kill with. You essenstially need a center-mass hit of an unwounded guy to get a kill.

The Striker shotgun is a ****** machine with a player who can use it. It's got the most range I've seen out of a COD shottie and I usually avoid close-quarters spaces when against a team with more than one guy using them... I'll stick to an open space with long firing lines and just stay the **** away.

I don't know if there is a new engine of some sort that controls gameplay, but the "I got five hitmarkers at close range, and the dude turns around and I don't even see/hear his gun fire and I die" is getting a bit old.

Anyways, I'll play with anybody here who wants to talk it up... I talk a lot during the team-tactical type games... mostly keep quiet on TD, and talk MAD **** on FFA.

I am amazed by how fast some folks react on the game. I feel like im a second behind everyone else. I havd poor target acqusition I guess. they manage to zero on me at what appears to be instantly. I guss practice makes purpose. Yes, there is on shottie that is a beast. Too much range if you ask me for a 1 shot kill. Some guy kept *** raping me with one last night. Still pisses me off

I'm not a fan of the maps in comparison to the previous game, just not as fun. I only play hardcore, you might want to try that out Sam, no problem getting more "realistic" kills.

I play COD for it's arcade style gameplay. I get on at night, all pissed from work, and just lay into noobs all night long. I'll get 2-3 multikills (4) a game. It's great.

This game has become such a ------- joke to me. I mainly play team deathmatch.

Before every game, I check for a few things:
1) is anyone ranked astronomically well?
2) does any single player have an anomaly of a final score?
3) is there any player/team with K/D's over 2?

If any of the above questions are "yes," I immediately leave the room and find a new one.

This game is so incredibly reliant on who the host is and whether or not you're on their team. If you are on the team that has the host or outlying player, you can actually hit people when you shoot at them. If you are not on the team with the host or outlying player, you will die...even if you're shooting at a group of people running in a single file line away from your gun....because the one outlyer will turn around and shoot you...and when you watch the kill came, you will have never even got a hit marker...if your gun even fired.


In summary, my K/D stays around 1.5-1.6 and W/L ratio down around 0.55 since I simply leave close to half the games I'm thrown into. Mostly play by myself on Xbox. The cat keeps chewing through mics, which made me lose my elementary school aged 'friend' that I used to play with. :(

My K/D used to be closer to 2.0 but I've been playing a lot of "DropZone" with my buddies from work. The game is a ton of fun but it's harder to have the 30 kills, 5 deaths sort of games.

I play a lot with guys from my work. We have ~ 8 people just in my department of 55 that play on the PS3. There are another 5 or 6 that play on XBox. We just had our first "Private Match Tuesday" last night with just people from our department.

I've been playing DROP ZONE pretty much exclusively lately and find it's the most fun I've had playing yet. You've really gotta adapt to a new style of gameplay because there are now 2 "ways" to play. You can either go hard&fast for the drops, or stand-off and pick off the enemy team also headed in.

It's easy within about 2 drop locations to find out what style the other team is playing too. I play some games watching the countdown timer intently, and when it gets to about 15 seconds, I haul *** to where I think the next drop will be. About 2/3 of the time, I get it right and the first package is mine... sometimes I'll earn 2 packages before anybody else shows up... and usually get a few kills in the meantime picking off dudes who come charging around the corner. It's easy pickin's when there's another dude who is smart like that and will cover the opposite approach.

I rock blast-shield-pro and have been steadily figuring out where guys usually throw grenades from and where they usually land as they run towards a drop, so I stay in other corners or pockets while still staying long enough to earn Pts. under the drop.

Also... I will never go for a drop that isn't some sort of weapon. I love guys who dive on top of a UAV when there are already 2 dudes laying next to it and there are grenade markers all over the place.

The only ones I'll really take a chance on are Reapers and Osprey Gunner, because you know they're pretty much guarnateed 5-6 kills or more. And it's easy if it's one I've earned because the counter moves so fast. I'll also take a chance on a remote sentry depending on the board and if I think the next ZONE is one where I can run to and get set up beforehand.

And for the love of sweet baby Jesus, if the DROPZONE changes and 3 seconds later you hear a Predator Missile or Stealth Bomber inbound... GET THE HELL AWAY FROM IT!

I can't stand guys who go for a UAV when they know the other team is smart and is holding their strikes until a new ZONE opens up and then firing. How many times do you have to die in the zone before you wait 5 seconds before rounding the corner after the missile explodes.

It's funny how retarded some people are in Drop Zone. I hate it when my team mates are still running after a long lost drop zone w/ only 10s left, usually running at it from at least 1/2 way across the map. If I respawn no where near the current drop zone and there is less than ~20s left I don't even bother with it anymore.

The trick to drop zone is to be in the zone, getting care packages and getting kills / not getting killed. Some of the zones are near impossible to defend, for those zones I usually try to be the first one there, and then constantly move in and out of the zone so that the guys from the opposite team that are charging head on won't be able to kill me so easily.

Drop Zone is one of the few games where I've used a riot shield. Some of the initial zones are such a mess, having a riot shield is the only way to survive in the zone for longer than 5s. My main build for Drop Zone is UMP45 w/ extended mags and silencer, Blind Eye Pro, Quick Draw Pro (or Assasin Pro) and Stalker Pro, semtex and flash grenades.

AC130 pwns all in Drop Zone. One AC130 can completely change a match. Osprey Gunner and Reapers are also pretty good but the AC130 is an easy 7-10 kills if you get it.

I love Groud War and Domination but Drop Zone is pretty darn fun.

I went to Gamestop today and traded MW3 in for BF3. Net loss of $16...not a bad price to essentially rent the game for a few months of fun. The past few days put me over the edge with the connection and cheating issues. Hope it's not as bad in BF.

How do you cheat in MW3? Xbox issue?

I have BF3 for the computer, MW3 for the PS3. I much prefer MW3. I loved, loved, love BF2 but BF3 just doesn't do it for me. I stopped playing BF3 after MW3 came out... $60 for a game I only used for one week...DOH

Wire a switch into the ethernet cable so that you can break the sent data in order to pause the game, kill someone, then reinstate the connection to show you already killed them.
