just seeing if anyones playing this whats your thoughts hows your progress so far.

It has taken over my life.

im glad im not the only one making a thief ranger type class funner than hell picking people off;)

My copy should be here Monday. Unfortunately I will still be on vacation in New Mexico.

Many of my buddies have been loving it. I want it more than sex at the moment but I know it will consume my soul. Holding off until school stuff settles down.

I find it more fun to charge in with heavy armor, shield and big-ass mace. Decimate everyone.

I play off and on. Put in a few hours over the past week. Not a bad game. But BF3 is more winning right now.

downloaded last night at 9:30. started playing at 10:30. went to bed at sun up..... fuck me, what have i done.

I love it. I'm doing the main story and have gotten to a point where I can't find a key to get out of where I am and I can't go back the way I came. I'll figure it out tomorrow.

I'll probably pick this up in about 12 months, I like to be behind the times.

I actually went into wal-mart a couple days after it came out to get it and it was all sold out, so I got Dragon Age 2 instead (just beat, Dragon Age Origins a couple days before) because it was $20.

Being behind the times = winning

But seriously, I have to hold off on this game because between BF3, MW3 and Dragon Age 2 I have zero time (oh and getting ready for the 25HR at Thunderhill...)

I loved it when I was in my early twenty's and had time to sit around playing games....

I love it when i am in my late 20s and get to sit around and play video game at work. :fawk:

I'm almost done with the main quest I think. It's much easier if you check the guides now and again.

I thought it was supposed to be like 300 hours of gameplay? How much of that is the main quest line?

I refuse to even change the difficulty I started on, so I wont be doing that.

I'm on 360. I forgot that you could change the difficulty.

I'd like to get Morrowind for PC just to fuck around with. There where cheats for that game on console.

Lvl 31 here. I have so many dragon bones that I took them out of the chest at my house and tossed them outside. Damn near paved all the roads in Whiterun with dragon bone. I wish the dragons would just leave me alone.

The two main quest lines suck balls.

I like it on 360, besides it will probably be laggy on PC or at least thats how Oblivion was on PC for me.

pc looks better and you get mods.

For those of you who are cool enough to be using sheild + one handed weapon, which one are you using? I'm using Mace of Molag Bal, and it's not too bad.. I also switch to Dawnbreaker every now and then. Anyone got a higher dmg one hand weapon?

Daedric sward (one handed) because my smithing is 100 (u jelly?). I was using a Daedric mace, but I want to be able to lop off some heads, I think my one handed has to go up some. I also have somebodys Razor, which is a dagger and a daedric dagger if I want to dual wield. (press right trigger on one and left trigger on the other for xbox to dual wield)

I tried oblivion on my pc and on xbox and I couldnt get into it. Like 20 minutes into the story I am beyond lost with no clue wtf Im supposed to be doing.

Its and RPG, youre supposed to do whatever you want to do.
As soon as you get out of the sewers you can go do the main quest line or just start exploring and finding quests and such.

have any of you guys did the iron dagger cheat yet. buy a bunch of iron leather straps cheapest thing you can build jumps your smithing skills up fast. not really a cheat but quickest cheapest way to get 100 smithing skills

Yeah not a cheat as you won't ever come out on top money-wise. Thats how I leveled smithing to 100.

Me too, but on xbox it takes a LOT more coin then it seems to on other systems. I guesstimate I spent 30,000+ getting my smithing to where it is. You can also do it with leather and hides btw.

doing the iron dagger brakes the game. all the mods are stronger then your gear lvl. you get your ass handed to you

Also have Core 2 duo 2.66ghz and 3 gb of ram.

That was an awesome card back in the day, still pretty useable too.

IMO Skyrim isn't really gfx card dependant, it runs really well on a cheap £50 gfx card I bought earlier in the year.

There are a handful of graphic mods that make the pc version look better and increase frame rate.

Only fags don't play on max difficult.

Anybody else having occasional issues with crashing? Or the purple, no texture buildings and people, from time to time?

Otherwise, I'm enjoying it so far. Picked it up yesterday, and I am at 9 hours and about to hit LV11. I'm mostly a heavy armor and sword/mace kind of guy. Screw all of the magic and shit. All about brute force, a tanker.

Am I the only one who enjoys being a total dick, and runs across peoples well made tables and kicks their shit all over the floor, then walk out like a boss? Even kings are not safe from my feet. Surely I'm not alone.

I used the carry weight command and steal all things. Then dump it all in a trash pile outside the city. All the food I take to the town leader as a tribute. Then i took an arrow to the knee.
