What about GT5? I played GT4 wayyyy too much, just got GT5 and the graphics are just astonishing.

But in some ways, I miss GT4... I keep thinking it's just because I haven't explored all the stuff in GT5 but I don't know. The insanely long load times are killing me.

That has nothing to do with anything. There are a lot of cars in the game. Vehicle List - Forza Horizon Wiki Guide & Walkthrough - IGN

I think GT2 was the best of the GT series.

But I do so much "real" car/bike crap that I honestly have no desire to do it in a video game anymore. And no I'm not claiming to be friggen Jeremy Clarkson himself, but when you literally eat/sleep/breath vehicles in real life... I want games to be an escape. Going around a virtual track over and over perfecting my damper settings started to **** me off. One day a light bulb came on, "I don't even have the rebound tuned right on my REAL motorcycle, WTF am I doing?" NFS most wanted from about 5 years ago was some of the most fun I've ever had in a driving game.

That's a great point. I enjoy Gran Turismo because I don't get to be around/own most of these vehicle in real life, so I like to experience them in the game.

What do you do for a living? Sounds pretty epic.

I fly whirly-birds in t3h Navy. So many aeroquip AN fittings that you'd puke. And you know the government was charged like $100 per damn fittting... but I digress.

Yeah it's pretty sweet

And I don't own anything as epic as what I drive in GT or Forza. But I have some cool rides... and NONE are finished. But my Lancia Stratos was tuned perfect... and pixelated... What gets you more laid, a real miata or a virtual lancia? I'll give you one guess

I got it for christmas, and I've already beat it. I had alot of fun with it, the only thing I didnt like was the fewer cars, but there was still enough variety to keep me entertained.

The rivals part of the game is integrated very well into the story mode, and all the guys I used to play F4 with play horizon and anytime I finish a race it will pull one of their times up if they are faster and I get to race their ghost. So every night we race each other's times and we are slowly creeping up the leaderboards. Im ranked 802nd (out of ~800,000) in an event. Every morning at work I we all talk **** about how we put 2 or 3 tenths on the other guys time.

It may not have only 10 cars but the stock list is retarded small.
Now they expect you to fork over more money just to get **** that should have been there in the 1st place.

It's a dumbed down, thrown together version of forza 4.

If they took forza 4 physics and gameplay and set them to the open world environment, epicness would occur. But they didn't. I felt like I was playing NFS.

Imagine a mix between Forza 4 and Test Drive Unlimited.
Taking hairpins at over 100, not to mention you cant tune cars. (you can upgrade, but not adjust anything like spring rates/ect)
