I drifted away from the MT group, mostly because it seemed like everyone there only wanted to play MvM (Mann-vs-Machine) mode. I much prefer the traditional game modes like Payload and Capture the Flag.

I can understand why. But it did get repetitive.

I had you on my friends list but not any more, whats your handle?

If you ever want a partner or a challenge you can hit me up for a game.

Edit: Just looked at the group page, the last time we played MvM on my server was August 2012. Scary how fast time has passed.

Joe, are you in NYC now?

I just add people from the mt.net group to my friends list and it tells me if they are in a game in the lower right pop-up. I then try to join that game but using the drop-down menu next to their name. Been awhile since I've played.

Bringing this back to the top.

How many people would be interested in me getting a tf2 server up and running? Would most likely be hosted in Europe, as I am not sure if my home connection can handle it.

32 people is a given. I will not be running whatever pony mods joe wants, he will just have to deal with it.

Let me do some research on what it would take to get it back up and running. Any interest on getting a ventrilo server up also, or is in game mic talking good enough?

In game mic seems fine, unless everyone starts playing more games & create more channels.

Why Europe?

I may be in for that. I'm about tired of quality time with the family today.

Because that is where my VPS lives with a 1000/1000 network pipe verse my home connection which is 50/15.

Do you have an IP I can ping?

Would it be a Private or Public server?

mkturbo.com is where it would be hosted. 73.131.91.13 is my home ip. I just don't know if I can handle a 32 person server on a 15mb up pipe.

When I was hosting servers years ago I was on FIOS and had 100/100 at my house.

166ms from Arizona. Kinda shitty. Was hoping for sub 100ms.

Try hosting in the states first and if that fails, then try the other one would be my suggestion.
