[How To?] Roll Fenders Before Paint...?

So some friends and I are getting ready to be paint this bitch from its black primeredness to an actual color and since I'm waiting on MS from a friend and time to fab everything...I'm painting my Rotas and painting the car.

Would rolling the fenders do anything for running slightly wider tires? My C8s are 16x7 and I'd like to run either 215s or 225s depending on fitment, choices, etc. I may ever just stay with the 205 Azenis that I have for them.

Just a random thought before we got around to painting, would it help and would I need to...and how do you guys go about rolling them?

225 40 16 T1S's fit on +33mm offset volk TE37's without rolling

if thats any help

I just got azenis 205's, first time I've ever ran them. I think they rock the nuts so far. They are pretty wide for 205's

magnamx-5 06-19-2007 03:01 PM

i run 225's the back is just fine you might roll the front abit thought althought unless you run 240+ tire i dont realy see it as necessary

miatamania 06-19-2007 03:03 PM

Damn...thats not bad, I do run a lot of camber fwiw.

How do you guys go about rolling them?

Here is a thread comparing 225 RS2's to the older 205 Azenis 215. Pics in the thread.

+1 on link :)

I've always heard about using a baseball bat and was curious how the hell do you do that, just put the bat between tire/fender, slowly roll the car back and forth?
