There's a VLSD at a local yard that they want $50 for, but the case is trashed. Can I swap the gears into my current case? If so, is it terribly difficult?

I know the VLSD's aren't that great, is it even worth it?

probably not worth the hassle even if it were for free...

This type of swap will not work, as far as I know. The axles are different right to left, so one would assume that the diff housing would also be different.

I had the VLSD on my car, it isn't worth the trouble to install unless you are really after any LSD on a budget.

If you do get it, make sure you get the axles as well.
