1.8 motor, 1.8 clutch, 1.6 everything else
I was going to order the ACT clutch today, but apparently something is different on the 1.6, because apparently ACT make a 1.6 -> 1.8 clutch conversion kit (not including the 1.8 flywheel).
Any insight to this? I thought I could just buy a 1.8 clutch disk, pressure plate, and 1.8 throw out. |
It's all about the flywheel. If you have a 1.8 f'wheel, use a 1.8 clutch. If you have a 1.6 f'wheel, use a 1.6 clutch. You can use either assembly with either motor. The trannys are the same.

yeah ACT makes it confusing, when looking for a clutch.
ZM0, means 200mm disc (1.6)....ZM1 means 225mm disc (1.8L) or something like that since they can be adapted to work on either application, all discs will come up on search results. |
hey guys...
doe the "puck" style cluches not last long? Is there a long lasting option? What about tilton's twin disc set-up? I can't find a link to it, and I know someone here has one. |
