Default 1.8 motor, 1.8 clutch, 1.6 everything else

I was going to order the ACT clutch today, but apparently something is different on the 1.6, because apparently ACT make a 1.6 -> 1.8 clutch conversion kit (not including the 1.8 flywheel).

Any insight to this? I thought I could just buy a 1.8 clutch disk, pressure plate, and 1.8 throw out.

It's all about the flywheel. If you have a 1.8 f'wheel, use a 1.8 clutch. If you have a 1.6 f'wheel, use a 1.6 clutch. You can use either assembly with either motor. The trannys are the same.

yeah ACT makes it confusing, when looking for a clutch.

ZM0, means 200mm disc (1.6)....ZM1 means 225mm disc (1.8L) or something like that

since they can be adapted to work on either application, all discs will come up on search results.

hey guys...

doe the "puck" style cluches not last long? Is there a long lasting option? What about tilton's twin disc set-up? I can't find a link to it, and I know someone here has one.
