So we are building the 1994 Miata and ordered a import VVT 1.8l 5 speed drivetrain for it. I just noticed something on the ecu and harness, the ECU (BTT3-18-881) has a date stamp 09/12/2007. Didn't the 1.8l VVT stop in 2005?

 

They all have dates like that, most are 2005. dunno why.
