Post 2005 mazdaspeed nb fuel cut/ i think need help!!!

ok so i have a 2005 msm.The car 100% stock when this was happening i would be driving on the freeway at about 80mph lightly give it gas and about 82mph it would cut fuel just like as if i was hitting the rev limiter but my rpms are at 4500 somewhere close to that and if i stay on the gas it would let me keep going faster and then cut again. It would let me do this all the way up to about 135mph. the only thing i was thinking of thats causing this problem was the stock ecu becuse i know it has lots of restrictions so i ordered a piggy back setup and im still having the problem so i know its not the ecu. So now im thinking it could only be a fuel pump, fpr,or injectors.

i have talked to other people in my area that have the same car and their car doesn't do this.

any ideas would be nice thanks.

Disconnect your tps, then go drive the hell out of your car. I bet you wont have the problem anymore. Let me know how it goes because ill know the issue after that. And yes its safe, i drove like that for months

The bog is fairly well documented on mazda-speed. The only way to really be rid of it is to get an aftermarket computer. I have the Hydra, it works great.

Kind of a long shot... Are you the original owner? If not, is there a possibility that a manual boost controller was installed and you are not aware of it? I bought my car and it had a mbc set to ~12psi and it would hit boost cut (I think 10.5 is boost cut on stock MSM). Installed a gauge and dialed it to 10 - no more boost cut.

i have a piggy back system and still does it.

also im not sure if there was a mbc installed but when i installed my piggy back with an ebc set at 10 psi it still does it.

also while driving home today i was going 65 at about 3500 or so rpm and it did it. and i took the piggyback and ebc off yesterday.

my car is still under factory emissions warranty so i think im going to get it looedk at becuse it does sound like something that could fall under emissions.

if they find something i will post to let everyone know incase it happens.
