Default 2010 Mustang GT FTL

This morning I was behind a red with white racing stripes 2010 Mustang GT. The guy was driving like he owned the passing lane, so when it was more than clear I got along side of him on the right to pass. I should mention that I wasn't trying to mess with him or anything, I was just about 5mph faster than him looking to get around the idiot.

Right as I get next to him he ******* hammers it! **** that! I was already in 5th and just went with it. He got maybe 1 car in front of me when he hammered it, but I ******* left him behind like he was sitting still! Totally destroyed this ****.

Then when all is said and done I'm like a 1/8 mile away from him and he comes speeding up in the right lane only to almost rear end the merging on ramp traffic. Stupid ******* idiot! I just cruised along and let him throw a tantrum through traffic until I got off the highway. I think he figured that if he somehow managed to get in front of me, that would mean he was faster. lol

I wish I had the camera in the car to have a video to share, but I didnt.

I humbled a late model GT with some pretty good mods (wide summer rubber, exhaust and who knows what else) not too long ago.

Caught him at a light, didn't want to race (at least not from light) but gave him a flick of the hand anyways. He shook his head no. We left, and he floored it as soon as he hit second as we cleared the intersection.

I was on the ball, and left him 3 cars back in a block and a half. I don't think he was expecting a Miata to jump sideways and take off like that. The look on his face as I let of and let him roll by was PRICELESS.

Crushing egos is like taking virginity, without the messy cleanup.

Anyne buying 2010 Mustang does not not what the hell they are doing anyway. Next year they get a real engine to compete with the Camaro.

Right now:

3800 Effing Lbs, about 320HP

2011:

Same porky weight, but with a DOHC 5.0 making 410ish HP, with heads that are designed to be able to go direct injection down the road too.

With a few exceptions I have just never been impressed with Mustangs. It seems like 95% of them run 14s at the track while sounding like a 9 second beast. There are exceptions though. Well done SVOs, Foxes, Machs, and Termies kick ***.

Machismo and I were out bedding brakes at the track between sessions and some poser in an r32 or whatever GTI was absolutely murdered so when I backed off he decided to cut me off and brake check me. he immediately pulled into the gas station at the track and now I regret not discussing the situation with him.

Nice kill. I work at a Ford dealership. A kid I work with has a 2010 GT and thinks its king of the road. I can't wait until I get my car done so I can make him look silly in my "girls car"

I had a 2008ish 427r roush try to race me while I was tuning. He was reving at me intently, speeding up slowing down. I thought to myself, now why the hell would this mustang want to race a stock looking miata, and I was only cruising around at 3k rpm. I had the boost turned up to 10psi vs the standard 6.5ish psi the internal wastegate gives and was enjoying it.

I thank god that I just got done doing some pulls past 6k rpm and it was really ******* hot out and MS CLT was reading near 210. After bugging me for about 3 miles, the guy rolls down the window gives me a thumbs-up and then I see the KCPD badge on his shoulder. So a damn cop was trying to race me in a obviously un-marked car, haha.

I was messing with a LSB E36 M3 last night. He drove past me as I turned onto a nice wide road. About 2 miles down I slowly stalk my way up to pass him..it's my "look at me..I am a easy win for you because I am just a shiny, loud Miata" pass....I usually leave the car in 3rd gear for a little extra noise. So I get past him and he bucks at me..so I return the favor...but I was in 4th at a low rpm and couldn't make much noise. He drops be hind me and moves over to the far right lane (the road is 3-wide and I am in the center). As he does so, I go into 3rd...get the revvs to around 5.5K and roll on it as he comes up next to me..let off...he floors it and I do as well.....aaaaaaannd pull like hell on him. OK, so there were 4 people in the damn thing...but it's a nice car with out of state tags and young occupants....I knew they'd take the bait and I knew he was far too heavy to be a threat considering a E46 with one person and a MT isn't quite enough to take me either. Still got a thumbs up.

I still say my favorite kill was some guy in a 08/09 Mustang GT with the top down and his ******* smoking hot gf/wife in the pax seat. He had pulled up next to me all revving and **** like a typical Mustang owner...and we're both at a red light. They over there revving, looking and laughing at me. I'm sitting all chill and watching the coross traffic's light turn yellow....I raise my rpms to indicate I'll be ready to go. Light goes green and he gets waxed. I knew it.... but he didn't. At the next light, he is forced to pull up next to me. I look over and ask "where'd ya go?" to which he replies "yeah, you got me...got me good". I knew his tail was between his legs, so I smartassed him a bit more... "man, this thing is only a 1.8 4 cylinder". I did compliment that his car was clean and he said the same thing about mine and the light turned green and we went our ways. But man...just the fact that he thought he was all cool and showing off for his girl only to get SPANKED....it was priceless...it's more rewarding then beating the guy in the exotic who never looks over at you after losing.

I still kind of miss playing around with people at 16psi on the AF parts which had to be 300+ Mustang dyno whp. Playing with Gallardos, Vettes, and f430s was fun...but a ticket straight to jail.

Yeah, I generally don't up and haul *** and keep going...don't want to look too obvious and once a car length is pulled, it's pretty obvious how the rest is going to turn out. Like the damn Maybach I raced last weekend. It was right in downtown Atlanta...not the best place for a grudge match, but it was late and I knew the road conditions and how empty it was so I goosed it 1-3 gear just to prove my point. I think we scared some poor white teenie ******* who were on the sidewalk (road was 4 lanes wide) because I could see the whites of their eyes at 1am in the morning lol....probably had something to do with me shifting right on the limiter and making lots of loud, rapid succession popping noises when I bounced the limiter in 1st. But on the highway, it's a little different. If there is no one around, I'll open it up a bit more.

Not to mention he had a 70 mph roll from our standing start.
That was an impressive kill and I still wish you had stopped at the pumps too.
