Default 215 tires fit NA?

Shopping for a set for AutoX season. Came across a decent deal for 16 Enkei Or52s and Azenis. Vendor lists 215/45R16 as the matching tire.
Would 215/45R16 Azenis Rt615 fit an NA with Mazdaspeed suspension without rolling fenders?
Combined weight of tire+rim is 38lbs. Will I notice a performance drop with them being over 30lbs enthusiasts' recommendation?

Yes, it should. I noticed a ride comfort improvement when going from ~35lb. combo to ~29-30lb. combo, so I'd imagine you'll notice the opposite when going to 38lbs.

Thanks.
Anyone tried SportMax wheels? They don't seem to publish weights anywhere. Just curious how heavy are they?

heavy in my opinion... they are ~15.5 lbs for 15x8. Clubroadster forums has a lot of folks running those wheel, you can check over there.

I am running a 215/40/16 on a 1994 with plenty of clearance. Suspension is old and saggy, and no issues yet.

You can fit 225/45/16's with a little massaging of the inner fender liners in the front.

Hmmmm, now that is some useful info. I assume this is at stock ride height?

I have Ground Controls and Konis, so I should be covered there. Is the "miata massage" outlined on this site so I will know what to do?

Im running them now. I love them, they are 15# on my bath scale so 15.5 sounds about right, and I run 195x50x15 tires. Im going to go up to at least 215 when these are done though.

Im pretty low, very compared to stock, not so much compared to some on CR.net. I dont have the liners in and rolled the fenders. near stock alignment numbers, I havent been aligned in a long time, and have yanked my suspension apart more than a few times since...

They are "heavy" but they are lighter than my 14x7+0 diamonds (16+) and it made a HUGE difference moving from those to the rota RB, and I didnt notice any difference other than the final ratio when I moved to the larger sportmax.
