Default 3 gauge above radio pod that doesn't suck.

Does one exist? The one I have is the standard one with 3 angled bays. It doesn't snap in particularly well. I could build one but would like an off the shelf solution.

ddmworks make some really nice kit. I've got a double gauge one that sits under the radio.

I have the snap-in aluminum one and it's pretty solid. I think it's the TDR one...

Look in my build thread and find pics of the 3-way ddm panel in my car. It's probably the only 3-way you'll ever have in hour life, ***.

cspence here has some panels too for price of shipping and beer. He could probably fab up something with a radio opening, or you could jig one out. Mine fit great after a little grinding.

I made a setup almost identical to that. For my taste, the gauges are still too low and I'm thinking about going with the 3 panel a-pillar, regardless of how ricey it looks. I do think a dash panel is better suited to the NB since you could put the gauges at the top level, where the HVAC is on an NA.

I could be talked into selling this panel when the autox season is over

Yeah, unfortunately you are right. I am considering ditching everything and just installing gauges where they should be: in front of you in the gauge panel. Or maybe I can figure out a Heads Up Display like the new Corvette

2 things. I have an NB and I want to retain my head unit. Is Cspence panel standard double DIN size? I know the early NAs had some funky size opening.

I could cut a 5 or 6 panel to size.
