Default 6 speed + Torsen Swap Questions

Okay, I have a 94' Miata and I have a 6 speed and a 3.9 torsen I'm going to swap in. Want to make sure I have everything down before I start.

I just have the pumpkin, this is all I need to swap from a 1.8 open, right?

6 speed, I have a 6 speed shifter and I think if I remember correctly the starter will only bolt with two bolts instead of three correct? Otherwise its a straight swap?

Thanks in advance, searching turns too many unrelated responses.

p.s. what oil you guys like to use in diff/tranny?

edit: forgot about the 6 speed shifter plate. Does anyone have a picture of one?

You are all correct. You'll also need to modify the neutral and back up wiring on the trans. It's very simple.

The GM stuff seems best in the trans. You get it at the Chevy dealer; tell 'em you need corvette manual trans oil. The diff ain't so picky.

I don't remember the differences in the plate, I'm thinking it was just bolt hole locations, which you can probably drill.
