Default 6258 whine

So I have had the 6258 on for a bit and always thought it a bit odd and have only seen one other thread mentioning it. Is it normal for the efr 6258 to have a whine? I have had people ask me if it's supercharged. Just wondering why it does that. It's been on the car for a couple thousand miles has no problems otherwise.

My GTX2867R sings/whistles like a tractor trailer at about 0psi/100kpa. I love it.

If you're actually worried about it post a sound clip. If you're just talking about that sweet spot like Sixshooter then thats normal. My Pulsar 4849G sounded absolutely insane from 75kpa to 150kpa. It is more of a whistle. If your turbo is genuinely whining, I'd be a little concerned lol

I have a 6258 and no whine. I originally didn't have a recirc kit on it and tried it out. It added a weird sound that you might call a whine. The instructions from Borgwarner mention a sound and had a separate add on you could buy to get rid of it.
