Default '91 MX-5 won't idle for longer than a couple of seconds

EDIT 2: The fuel lines were the problem, it starts and runs smoothly now!

EDIT: It suddenly came to mind that the fuel lines might be the wrong way around. Or are the issues I experienced not what would be caused by this? Which one should go where?

G'day to anyone reading this, my name is Jay and I need help. First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong subforum, so now that that's out of the way:
At the moment I'm kind of out of options on trying stuff to get my car to work. Let me explain the situation.

A couple of days ago I tried to start my car for the first time in a year. (I rebuilt the entire car if that makes any sense) I had previously soldered the loom for the Toyota Coil on Plugs, using the sticky on mt.net. After setting the base timing back to 10* BTDC, cranking for about 3 minutes total (all short ~10 second cranks combined) it started to 'catch'. Surely the engine started, but it proceeded to die within a couple of seconds. I'm 99.9% sure I have solid spark and fuel, the spark is strong when I put my plugs on the valve cover and crank the car, and the entire garage smells like gasoline after I crank.
I'm using Toyota 1SZ-FE COPs, NGK Iridium BKR7EIX-11 spark plugs, RX8 Yellowbody injectors and it's being controlled by a DIYPNP (which has worked before)
What I've done up untill now:
- Checked all of the COPs to see if they all worked.
- Checked for all connectors, the only ones hanging loose are the plug for the charcoal canister solenoid thing (does that thing need to be connected?), the plug for the stock coils and the plug for the front thermoswitch.
- Double checked all grounds I know of, even put some of them on other spots.
- Resoldered the entire COP loom I previously made.
- Played with the MS tune, idle valve and fuelling.
- Probably more but I can't recall atm.

Symptoms are: Engine starts, idles for a maximum of 5 seconds at <700 RPM and dies, also dies whenever I apply throttle, doesn't even start when I apply the least amount of throttle. I can't really get an accurate AFR reading since the WB doesn't have time to heat up after I start. I've seen afr's in the 17's once before it cut out, but also in 11's another time.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help, I'm freaking desperate at this moment :P

Here's a picture of my engine bay, in case any of you gurus can magically spot what's wrong by looking at this
