Default 94 Black C package for $2500

It's a 94 Black C pakage with 178k miles needs a timing belt change and tuneup. Body and paint is in good condition. Is it worth it? To me it's only worth $1800.. What do you guys think?

$2500 is fair. $1800 is lowballing.

I'm with Sav if the top is in good condition. I'd love to find a deal like that.

$2250 cash would probably work. Really, anything under $3k is good. I wish thats how I did it. Buy it cheap cause it needs work, then build it up however you want.

Body and paint in good condition as in you have seen it or that is what the current owner claims?

Sounds like a good deal.

Timing belt swap is easy to do. Offer him 2200-2500 depending on quality of the top.

Jason, I haven't seen the car in person. But that's what the owner said. He is the 2nd owner and he has own the vehicle since 25k miles. He also has all the service records.

2K sounds like a fair price. It is hard to say with the economy, but we are getting into convertible weather!

Take a look at it before putting a price on it. I have seen cars where the body and paint were in good condition, but they left out the trunk lid dents, the cracked finish panel, the torn lower portion of the bumper cover. Bottom line, the definition of good can vary from person to person.
