Today I had the pleasure of meeting Hustler here in Dallas. I got a chance to check out his car and his setup. I was surprised that a couple of people in "fast" cars wanted to race me while on my way to meet him. I then saw his car and it looked a lot like mine. Both of our cars are metallic green with Nickel 6ULs. I guess I was a victim of mistaken identity. His car is one sweet ride! His setup is definitely well put together. We chatted for a bit and then took a spin. All I can say is wow! I am definitely ruined! :giggle: We went out for lunch then he gave me a chance to drive it (Thanks Trey!). The power comes on smooth and then accelerates briskly to the point where you need to pay attention to what you are doing, it was new experience for me. I am impressed.

Trey, thanks again for your hospitality and for the opportunity to check out your car. It was an awesome experience :bigtu: Next time we have to hit that track. :drool:

I don't know if my car has a reputation around here, but one night I rhomped a Cobra and C5Z. I thought they were following me, but they stopped accross the street at the friday-night pushrod party by my house. I suppose the turbo green miata was discussed.

having that much torque, that early, and having it stay above 200rwtq all the way to redline is a pretty amazing feeling. My only complaint was his Mustang TB which has too light of a clockspring, if you're not careful the thing will just take off...

I know exactly what you mean. I had the BBK one, it was like an on-off switch. I liked the light pedal feel.

What turbo is on that blue car and what head? How many G's is he running on that dyno? I never got a damn dyno plot for my car. I'm putting it on a dynojet on 1/16 just for giggles.

GT2560, stock '97 block, '97 head with the Mazda Comp intake cam, 14G's tapering off to 12.

I'm pretty sure it's a '99-00 head with some valve work, perhaps shim under bucket too? And that funky cam(s). Not a '97 head. 275rwhp is disappointing to me.
