Does anyone see a reason why the AFM wouldnt work completely upside down?

Mine worked just fine upside down for almost a year until I got my MS.

no, that should be fine. i read up on this because upside down is the only orientation I could get the afm into the standard greddy position with the tall shock piston threads from my tein coilovers. upside down the threaded portion fits nicely in a little crevice in the afm. many people have run this way without issue. The only possible problem orientation is one that puts the force of gravity on the flapper door. but even this is debated, and the stock JRSC mounting position for the afm is on its side.
I don't start the car for the first time in this upside down orientation until this week (yay for 5~ month build being almost done) but i don't expect to have issues based on a dozen or so m.net threads.

Running it upside down will let all the electrons drop out and make the car run quicker(provided you added the turbo at the same time)
