Default Alternator Belt Squeel Related To Subwoofer and extra lighting?

I recently installed a 350 watt rms 750 peak amp as well as a few leds a set of halogen foglights and 9006 aux headlight no flip mod. when i am taking off with my hflip ups and rest of lights and stereo and heater on im getting a high pitched belt squeel. the belt snapped the other day. i went to replace the belts and noticed there was no tensioner on the top of the alt nothing holding the top in place i figured this was the issue. Well i couldnt find a tensioner so a got a nut and bolt and got the best tension i could and locked it down no squeel hazaaaah. lasted 3 days d****tt anyone have a similar issue could a capacitor for the sub help maybe a larger battery a junkyard big alt swap something thatll help but not kill the wallet im gonna look for a tensioner tomorow hopefully i get it right and that solves it but any input will be appreciated thanx guys

Ya, you're gonna need a tensioner on the alternator.

ya i think your gonna need a bigger alternaotr maybe one from a honda or a truck what kind of capacitor are you running how big is it the leds are drawing tons of current better replace them with some neons pink is my favorite color for neons i think you need to get a special anti squeal belt from autozone or maybe better you should replace it with a belt similar to a timing belt with ribs the other way so it dosint slide on the pully and maybe put some belt dressing onit to make sure that it really dosnint squeel and once you are dun maybe put a bigger engine init maybe somthing like a 5.0

Squeal is your car's way of telling you that you have added too much unnecessary crap in a Miata that isn't making it go any faster or handle better.

I run over 800 watts of RMS amplifier power.

If you are overtaxing your electrical system, you should get voltage drop, not belt squeaking.

Voltage drop...like Bryce said would be indicative of overtaxing.
