Default What a ******* day!

So it's like 95 degrees today and about 8,000% humididty. Back is soaked, *** is soaked. Time to quit being lazy and install the a/c. Get most of it in and realize that my complete kit is minus a part,The hard line off the drier.

Well that's just ******* swell. Fine, I'll live Not a biggie i'll check around on monday for one somewheres. Finishing up the rest of the stuff, putting the new belt on had to pry the p/s down a bit. I've done this like a hundred times literally, and of course on mine I ******* slip and snap off the connector for the p/s pump sensor. Getting a bit annoyed at this point, **** it i'll find that on monday too somewhere.
So then I proceed to start reinstalling my i/c and piping. Hmm well **** the stripes don't fit with a/c wouldn't you ******* know it, That might have been convenient to know beforehand. So, I need to either reroute some p/s **** which I .t. h. i. n. k. might give me just enough clearance, or order some reducers and some 2" pipe to skate by the compressor with.

You would think that would be enough right? Nope, to top it off my oil return line is now like an inch too short with the compressor on now so I need to order a new line too. Jesus jumped up christ on a pogo stick, anything else??????? I did want to order a pair of slim fans anyway I guess.
I had thoughts to order a new i/c, drop the radiator an inch or two and do an over the top pipe solution but the vent in the hood is in the ******* way of course. That would be to ******* easy and convenient really, with only half the connections.
Sometimes I get the feeling the car is laughing at me. Maybe i'll be a smartass and just mount the i/c on top of the ******* engine like an t-2 rx7 if you keep ******* with me, you little red *******.
Keep laughing, your stuck in the garage all week now waiting on parts.

**** happens. Believe me I've been pretty pissed too. Today I spent 6 hours machining out an adapter for my 36-1 trigger wheel setup I'm building. After 6 hours, all I gotta do is turn down the last piece to +.002 and press the trigger wheel on. Sure enough, I cut the damn thing to small and it's only a tight ,fit. Once the hub cools and contracts, it's a slip fit. Great. Then had to knurl it to get the size bigger. Knurled it too much, now it's .004 over. SO I say **** it, cover the bitch in clyinder sleeve Locktite and press the ****** together. Right as I'm getting it flush the damn thing mushrooms and bends the **** out of my aluminum trigger wheel. So now I gotta get another wheel and try again.

It sucks, but it's not the end of the world. I still got a lot done, and am very close to being finished with it. Just didn't go how I hoped. As bossman says, "don't sweat the details". Course he also says "We don't pay you to think." and "I pay you from your neck down and your waist up. Everything else is no good", and "We stand behind our work, but never under it."

Iv been so pissed I wanted to throw away my miata, but just hang in there. It will come together soon.

-P.s: I thought that stripes kit was AC and PS friendly.

I thought so too, but it's being pretty unfuckingfriendly about the whole situation. I must have skipped over the part of the instructions that said something about acquiring a sledgehammer for some mild fabrication.

The hoses for the p/s and the compressor don't leave alot of room so I might have to drop from 2.5" down to 2.0" for that part. I can't imagine it will make any real difference other than the fact that I have to buy a couple reducers. Hmm maybe I should just get a 2 ft section of 2" silicon instead, then I can just zip tie the thing out of my way.

Hey man.....that sucks to hear. But now.....it'll be done and out of your head. Get out the simple green and check over everything while your under there.

Just take the time and enjoy it, make sure you laugh back at the car though! No matter how many knuckle slips, smacking my head, and days sweating like a fat person I always was able to laugh and walk away. It feels so much better than getting pissed.

Goodluck with everything man, just keep at it!

You know this brings up a good point. Typically I am obsessed with my car, but whenever I/it ***** up, I sincerly want to trash it/destroy it/sell it.

i thought i wanted to trash the miata a cople times too....once pain in the *** is the t line off the oil pressure sensor..... even though you could take a bolt off and use it off the engine...i wanted to tee it off the oil pressure sensor cuz it's how it was when i had my kit made..... sure enough i stripped the an fitting and took me a whole 2-3 days to redo it.....not to mention i dropped a lot of oil so i needed to refill with a fresh set of synthetic oil 2-3 times

Default AC Hard Line

Is this the hard line you are looking for? It's about 15" long. One FM and one Male end.

I can send it you cheap. $5 plus shipping. What's your zip?

Dammit, Yes that was the one, where were you yesterday lol. I just picked up one from partstrain.com, The guy is always cool and has stuff for a reasonable price.

I had forgotten that the stripes is supposed to go down between the fans and that since I have the rb sway brace and hollow sway it wouldn't fit so I had to squeeze it down by the a/c and p/s. I dunno I'll figure something out. I've got plenty of hammers and an angle grinder. I guarantee something will fit somehow.

Vash: I love that hood but dammit it's really being inconvient about my over the top pipe situation. I might have notched the vent a half inch or so if it wasnt painted already. I wonder if dropping to 1.5" pipe would make any difference somehow? Would be alot easier to deal with that way. Going to go order my damn fans now. Maybe 'll get lucky and poke a hole in the godspeed while im fiddly-******* around this week. I gotz mad skillz in screwing **** up this last week or so.

I lived in houston for a year, between the bugs and the ******* humidity that was enough. The mazda tech program lasted a year and thats exactly to the day how long I stayed there and got straight the **** out.
I like nice DRY heat, not the swimming in a hot tub all day kind.

Today was cool so far, Haven't broke anything yet. Except for the fact that I forgot that I was holding one of the charge pipes for a reason and let go to find my ratchet whereby releasing said charge pipe for free fall. Fortunately my face was in the way of it hitting the ground. That was aweome. That's when I just say"****" and start laughing.
